Get the lenses optimized for the real position of wear

Precise optics in all directions of gaze

Optometric data are responsable to define the real position of wear for a speciic user. A rigorous capture of this data is key to guarantee the best visual results in terms of visual quality and comfort. OptiMesh technology compensates optical aberrations and corrects the difference in power between theoretical and resulting Rx considering a lens in as-worn position.

Improved optics no matter the frame or prescription

Horizons Optical has developed Optimesh technology to allow consumers to get lenses calculated and optimized for the real position of wear.

Each lens is held by the frame in a different position, this is known as the position of wear or position of use. Develop the lens according to the real position of use is rellevant to avoid aberrations that are responsible for a drop in the visual acuity.

Real Position of Wear

OptiMesh corrects the difference in power between the theoretical prescription and the resulting prescription when the user is wearing a lens. For the compensation, the following parameters should be considered.

Quality - Horizons Optical
Visual quality

Natural vision with the highest visual acuity

Perception of no limits - Horizons Optical
Panoramic view

Greater lateral field of vision (compared to a standard PAL)

Reading area

Larger and easier reading area

Personalized lens - Horizons Optical
Personalization

Optimized vision for each position of wear
