In accordance with data protection legislation and any other relevant and currently-applicable legislation, the user is informed that the personal data provided, where appropriate, will be incorporated into an automatic file, which will be used only for the purposes described in the corresponding form, pre-contract or offer.

Client data

If you have provided your data as the contact person of a client or supplier company or as an individual business owner, either as a client of or supplier to HORIZONS OPTICAL, HORIZONS OPTICAL will use this data exclusively for the maintenance of the contractual relationship and will not transfer them to third parties, unless such transfer of data is necessary to fulfill the contractual relationship with the data subject or his/her company. The data provided will be kept for as long as the contractual relationship is maintained or for as long as is necessary to comply with legal obligations. Furthermore, as a client or supplier of HORIZONS OPTICAL, HORIZONS OPTICAL may send you commercial information through the methods you have provided, including e-mail, on the basis of Legitimate Interest regulated by the General Data Protection Regulations.
In addition, we inform you that HORIZONS OPTICAL may use your personal data for training purposes and parameter setting, when required by the service provided to the client.

HORIZONS OPTICAL uses the contact details of client or potential client companies to send information that may be considered to be commercial in nature. Accordingly, the recipients of the information may be clients, potential clients previously contacted by HORIZONS OPTICAL, people who contact HORIZONS OPTICAL using the contact form, and people who have subscribed through the corresponding form. Use Test

In the event that your data are processed for a Use Test, such data are processed always with your express consent. The legitimate basis for this processing is your consent given at the time. Your data will therefore be used to carry out each Test for which you may have been called upon. Data that may be particularly sensitive will be treated confidentially and used for each Test, and Horizons Optical may call upon you for carrying out other Tests according to your specific optical conditions.
HORIZONS OPTICAL will maintain the confidentiality of your personal data, communicating these, if necessary, to the authorities on the basis of fulfilling its legal obligations. Your data will remain in our systems as long as you do not object to the processing of your data.

Website registration

We inform you that HORIZONS OPTICAL uses the data obtained from registering on the website/websites in order to optimize your experience of being registered on them. In addition, we inform you that your data may be used to send you information that may be considered commercial in nature.

The data provided will be retained for as long as the contractual relationship is maintained or for as long as is necessary to comply with legal obligations. Candidate data

If you have provided your data to HORIZONS OPTICAL as a potential candidate for a position within the company, HORIZONS OPTICAL will use this data exclusively to manage your application for any of the vacancies that may exist and will not transfer these data to third parties. The data provided will be kept for a maximum period of two years. The legal basis is your consent through the sending of your curriculum vitae.

Exercising of rights common to all personal data

The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we at HORIZONS OPTICAL are processing his/her personal data, and therefore has the right to access his/her personal data, rectify inaccurate data or request the deletion thereof when the data are no longer necessary, as well as to oppose the processing of his/her data for any purpose explained herein, such as the sending of commercial information.

Truthfulness of data and updating

HORIZONS OPTICAL presumes that the personal data provided through the different channels and formats are truthful, that they are supplied directly by the subject, that the subject is who he/she claims to be, that the data are up to date, and that the affected/interested party will communicate any modification of his/her data from the moment the modification occurs.

Duty of secrecy

The persons who intervene in the data processing concerning physical persons and access the files, whether directly or indirectly, will maintain secrecy at all times with regard to the personal data that they encounter as part of their work.
